Island Air offers a corporate program only to businesses that historically produce high volumes of travel on an annual basis.
Our corporate program is unlike those of other Hawaii inter-island carriers in that Island Air does not have excess capacity. Some routes are serviced only twice a day, which means every seat has a considerable value. While other carriers must attract businesses by eliminating change fees and allowing for unlimited refunds, Island Air’s service on nine niche routes means we have matched our seat inventory to precisely meet passenger demand. For this reason, Island Air has been able to withstand changes in the local air transportation environment.
Businesses that travel at least 500 one-way segments a year qualify for Island Air’s corporate program. Corporate account members enjoy the following benefits:
- First bag fee waiver ($10 value)
- Second bag fee waiver ($35 value)
- Convenient and secured online access to your corporate account 24/7, allowing you to make changes or cancellations on your own time
- Discounted change fees (if applicable)
- Discounted web fares (if applicable)
- A corporate account profile allowing administrator and user rights, which not only stores your traveler names and information for quick retrieval, but also records all bookings made from your account for easy record-keeping (The administrator will have the option to share or hide the stored credit card form of payment from users)
Remember when making itinerary changes that Island Air does not charge a difference in fare if your routing remains the same. Making online changes is done with a simple flat fee so you’ll always know what your change will cost.
Please check our flight schedule before requesting an account to ensure we provide the routes you need. Island Air concentrates its service between Honolulu and Molokai, Lanai, and Kapalua West Maui, as well as nonstop between Kahului and Lihue, Kona, and Hilo. Our flights from Honolulu to Lihue and Kahului are infrequent and we do not provide nonstop service between Oahu and the Big Island.
In addition, before the holiday season, companies that record high volume travel earn free trips, which are issued as prize-letter awards. They make the perfect gift for employee holiday parties, recognition awards, or door prizes.
If your company meets the minimum requirement and you’d like to inquire further about establishing a corporate account with Island Air, click here to access our corporate account inquiry form.
If your company does not meet the minimum requirement, there is another option. We recommend your travel coordinator open an individual Cloud 9 account and make all company bookings from his/her login. This creates a record of all booked segments and helps us track your booking volume. In the future, should you meet the minimum segment requirement, you’ll have immediate proof stored in your travel coordinator’s Cloud 9 account and it will expedite the process of verifying your qualification requirements.
